Economic core knowledge is one of the most important key competences to meet the challenges of globalization. The initiative “Business Competence for Europe” was started, to spread core business management knowledge among those, who haven’t studied business management. It developed the internationally recognized certificate European Business Competence* Licence, EBC*L.

The Organisation

On international level the EBC*L is hosted by two organizations.
 

• The International Centre of the EBC*L is based in Vienna, Austria and managed by Victor Mihalic (CEO). EBC*L International is responsible for supporting the existing countries, the international distribution of the EBC*L and the further development of the EBC*L system.

• The Council Business Competence for Europe in Paderborn, Germany is composed of leading European professors for business management. Chairman of the Board is Univ. Prof. Gerhard Ortner. The Council has the function as professional back stopper and provider of academic and strategic leadership.

• The "Exam Centers" and "Training Centers" can be institutionalized under the same roof but they can be separate as well.

Yeditepe University is the first accredited Training and Exam Center in Turkey.
