The EBC*L certification system consists of a publicly available syllabus for each competence level and an international standardized examination .
The EBC*L levels are:
- Level A: Business Basis,
- Level B: Business Planning,
- Level C: Leadership.
EBC*L LEVEL A'S CONTENT
Level A is the exam and training system to get basic business management license. The standardized curricula has the following titles:
- Business Objectives and Management Ratios,
- Accounting,
- Costing and Pricing,
- Introduction to Business Law.
THE LEVEL "A" EXAM
The Level A exam lasts 2 hours and the candidate is expected to answer open ended questions. To get the EBC*L certificate he/she has to answer correct at least 75 % of the questions right. The target groups of Level A are: university students, the managers of the little and middle entrepreneurships and the individuals who want to increase their individual capacity to have more opportunities to better jobs.
Successful candidates get the certificate, issued by the International Centre of the EBC*L and the Council Business Competence for Europe.

THE LEVEL "B" EXAM
The Level B exam lasts 3 hours and the exam taker has to answer open ended questions, with at least 75 % correct answers to get the certificate. Target groups are the university students, managers of the middle and bigger entrepreneurships and the university graduates with different former education that seek better job opportunities.
THE LEVEL "C" EXAM
The Level C exam aims to increase leadership capacities of the middle and senior managers of businesses. The preparation phase of Level C Certificate will be ready at the end of 2008. Detailed information will be available later.
Preparation Courses
The courses preparing the candidates for the EBC*L examination are conducted by local training institutions and universities as well as universities of applied sciences. All of them are accredited partners of the Representation Office in the particular country and fulfil the fixed quality standards. The preparation courses per level comprise 40 to 60 hours.
